DJ Jose David Reus (Spain)

Jose David Reus started as a DJ when he was 18 years old, with vinyl records, he played all kinds of music in trendy venues, managing to run his own dance venue in 1989, Disco-Pub Latino.
More than 20 years of work compiling and remastering the best tango collection, with excellent sound quality that will not leave you indifferent. He has been musicalizing milongas, meetings and tango festivals for more than 16 years, mainly in Spain. In 2008 he opened his own milonga in Benidorm, where he is the resident DJ of "Milonga La Pasional", a traditional style milonga with great success, to this day.
He has also been a tango dancer and teacher for many years, he organizes various events, and as good Milonguero he likes to dance with rhythms and melodies, being a great connoisseur of Orchestras and their styles, which is why his musical selection will not only make you dance, It will also make you enjoy, maintaining the energy and creativity that the dancers need in every moment of the milonga.
His extensive career as a professional DJ leads him to set music for the most prestigious milongas on the national and international scene, where he imbues all his sessions with energy, originality and fun.

DJ Balázs Gyenis (Hungary)

Balázs prefers rhythmic and emotionally charged music from the Golden Age but as a DJ he plays an overall balanced repertoire with an eye on dynamic variation between tandas and consistency within them. Balázs also produces the online tango radio station http://argentinetangoradio.com (which currently has around 120.000 listeners each month) and the podcast series "Danceable Tangos of the Year". Balázs is a popular international tango DJ in Europe, and a DJ and organizer at the Milonga de Mis Amores in Budapest.

What I love most of all in tango: harmony with my partner, expressing the style and fine details of the music and playing. As a tango DJ from the beginning (2008) I always aim to interpret these values, because for me dancing and DJ-ing are connected closely. I choose pieces for my tandas mostly from Golden Age and some of Guardia Vieja and Post Golden Age period, too. I compile the music to keep the energy up, as well as the flow on the dance floor. I never forget about my most important way of choosing music: it must be danceable and besides this: interesting enough to keep people dancing. Since 2008 I DJed at many Marathons, Festivals, Milongas and other tango events in a lot of European country. I am resident DJ and organizer of the Milonga sin Palabras, the oldest still in operation milonga in Budapest.

I’m in love with tango music, as a DJ and as a dancer. I’ve been to Buenos Aires two times, the second time I spent more than 7 months there. During that time I attended many different styles of tango events, and paid good attention to what factors make for a great dance evening. Moving from tanda to tanda, I choose my music carefully according to time period, orchestra and atmosphere. In Budapest I am organizer and DJ of the Milonga Jueves and the Castle Milonga which is said to be one of the most beautiful milonga venues of Europe.

The harmony to enjoy in a milonga by the embrace with my partner and by the music is valuable to me as a dancer as well as a tango DJ. I like when the dancers will able to experience various feelings by the music what I play, mostly joy, playfulness, sometimes deep feelings also. That type of musical waves can give us such an uplifting experience what may remain with us in the everyday life also after the milonga.
